Hello!

I'm from Barcelona, but I'm sorry but I don't have a classic Rover car, maybe in a future...

The reason for I want to stay here is that a brother-in-law was working in a repair workshop in past with your parents in Germany and Spain, for brands British Leyland and Alfa Romeo. In these hard times them workshop closed and we find old boxes with a lot of Rover classic official parts, the the father of my brother-in-law wants dump all these parts, but I think that is better that have in a better hands: to Rover collectors.

We want offer this parts or collection objects from you with very good prices and shipment and we want seriosly in this bussiness. Most of these parts are from classic Rover 3500, SD1, 1100 or 1300 (and more).

I hope that in this forum can know a lot of people that love this cars and are interested in this parts, I think that them needs a better owners. Do you know anybody to ask them?

Thanks!

Hello Giorgio73
One way to get an increased interest would be , taking some photos of the parts and load them onto this forum

Hi, interesting. Depends on what and how much you have. Small quantities, just ebay. Larger quantities, contact the clubs or some of the larger leyland suppliers like Rimmer Brothers. These people can buy the lot. Obviously the economics of running a truck to Spain come into that equation.

Again the type of parts is important, if it's seals and small parts then these, although important (indeed often annoyingly critical and unobtainable) would need to sit in stock with one of the suppliers. You'd have no trouble shifting body parts or mechanical bits that wear like pumps and steering components and NOS trim items.

Thanks for your answers,

I know Rimmer Brothers, but I didn't know that could provide all the material (parts, manuals, microfiches, collector souvenirs...) that we have available to them, I ask they.

The price that all we offer is negotiable becouse we estimate the actually prices in official stores and I calculate more or less a half price, the shipping costs from Spain to Europe are quiet well, becouse are parts of cars is not problem in international customs. I send parts in Germany and UK, and the shipping costs is since 4€, boxes with 4 Kg. the shipping can be since 12€... but some parts worth the pain.

From these parts, they was from boxes that nobody open them in 30 years ago, however we can't offer guarantees but are in a very good conditions.

And this material is very exclusive to offer in Ebay, is very hard sell them, for example, I sell parts with this:

- GASKET SET GEG276 (UNIPARTS) for Rover Mini
(his price initial is 15€ negotialbles)

- Or the originally CRAFT SHEET for ROVER 3500, if somebody needs a very cheap model (his price initial is 15€ negotialbles):

- Or simple timing belt for Rover 2000 and 3500 (his price initial is 5€ negotialbles):

In resume, I have a very varied materials... from the simplest to the rarest. You can visit my flea market in Internet: http://british-romeo.km6.net

But, I like your idea, I try to offer them in Rimmer Brothers (I would not know what to do with all that). Thanks you!!!! :D

They can only say yes or no so nothing lost. All of the businesses in the classic car world have NOS from sources like yours, businesses that closed and kept the parts, long after most went into the crusher.

Things like gaskets for a Mini are probably not so interesting because they are still made and easily available - but there are people who insist on the real thing.

Collectables/catalogues/brochures etc. are probably for ebay.
