Headlight Relay Conversion

Relays really are way to go. Sadly your box appears to have succumbed to poor fuse connection (the tongs weaken) and then heat then melting. It’s a matter of when not if. I have fitted 6 way fuse box with relays to dip and main beams, heater blower, rear screen and “ignition relay” for fuel pump. Plus my twin cooling fans that draw 15a. No melting to my Lucas box yet so this will keep it that way!

yes we added relays to our Vitesse and then to the 2000 saloon so with New lamp units its a no brainer to add them to the P6
with voltage drop relays can re awaken old tired glow worms
to reduce more current all tail/side and flashers have been changed to LED with the appropriate flasher/hazard units to match
along witha neat USB socket in the dash for camera and satellite speedo
were are getting there ...after months of de bugging lots of misguided bodged repairs and dodgy MOT
the smile is just a week away after we check the oil levels
