Hi
My name is Zac Marshall and I am the proud new owner of a '73 P6 3500 auto.
I have been around classic cars for years but this is my first P6. I also have a 1964 Jensen C-V8 II and had an FF for many years.
It was owned by an old pipe smoking gent in Bath for many years who sadly passed away earlier this year, I bought it from his daughter. It may not be the prettiest of cars but £2600 seemed a good deal.
The car had been in a lock up for several months and I really should have cleaned it before buying, mind you even if I had realised the drivers side door bottom and front wing were full of filler I probably still would have bought it. The idea is that this will be a semi everyday car in the summer, with my 1995 Volvo 960 as the winter car.
I joined the Rover P6 club at the NEC and was shocked to hear that Pilkie had passed away, he had a 541 for a while and was always on a P6 stand at the Shepton Mallet show near me with the Jensens.
The go faster exhaust trim has since been removed
