Great donor car

You can't part that out! That's a Vanden plas efi! One of the rarest SD1s with just over 1000 built. Makes the Vitesse look common.
If I was SD1 inclined I would be falling over myself for that but the last time I suggested getting one, my missus said she wouldn't be setting foot in it.

Your missus is a lady of rare refinement and common sense. I know its a is Rover but SD1's leave me cold. I guess the best thing to do would be get it going tart it up and re-export it back to blighty, a rust free rarity must be worth some coin to someone.

Actually it's not a great donor car at least for the injection. You are far better off with the hotwire system from the Disco or RR. The flapper system ain't as good.

You are right, I was being a bit tongue in cheek as it is only the injection that concerned me, I would think the latest (last) injection manifold that RR employed would be best from a technology and efficiency point of view, I had read some where that they will transplant to the 3500 block, then employ an aftermarket configurable engine management system to make it run.
