Just thought I would say Hi. Been a club member for about 20 plus years now but just found this great forum! Live north Surrey, work SW London.
Love my my kids, wife, Rover. You work out the order! I am no mechanic, however not afraid to have a go at most things. My car, 73 2000 SC. I bought this car when I was 18 years old, 42 next birthday, so I guess you could say we are old friends. Love the P6,l it's just such a great car. Had a couple of V8's along the way,and a 3 litre P5 Coupe, however have to say never fallen out of love with the good old 2 litre. My every day car is pretty fast so I don't need to tear around, 0 to 60 in just under a week is fine by me.In fact the name Speedfreak comes from my love of fast boats.
Thanks in advance to all the kind members who take time to share their knowledge with muppets like me.

Worcester Park! Drive thru most days....work about half a mile away, you may see me in my Blue 2000. Use it when the sun shines.
Yes get your V8 back on the road, no good sitting in the garage. There is a great MOT place near you I would reccomend in New Malden. They really know their way round the older car.

I used to use Peter Ostlings in Sutton for an MOT , I found them sympathetic to the older car

This place in New Malden - are they sympathetic or nit picking ?

No they don't nit pick at all. They are very good, they understan older cars well. Some modern places have not got a clue.
