Future of the forum

I feel good about this, nice one Richards!

It makes sense that it should go to a long established member for many reasons

Just want to say thanks to Richard F for doing a fantastic job with this forum over the last few years.

And to Richard C, well done for taking this on. You have the history with the forum, and contributing to it over more than a few years now. I've no doubt that the forum will be in good hands, and if you need anything, just shout.

Excellent result.
And thanks to Falkor for showing so willing.

Quattro, you say you're willing to fund it which is very generous. If you'd like to retain a "donate" link somewhere, I'd like to chip in now and again. I've done this in the past by giving away the occasional part and asking the recipient to make a donation. It won't have amounted to very much but gave me a warm glow for the minimum of effort. So I'd encourage others to consider doing the same.

Actually these donations were very much appreciated as it happened without me having to ask especially while I've not been right and not able to sustain everything.

Rich,

I'm so sorry to read about you troubles. Hope, the time will bring more positive aspects. As you perhaps know, in 2013 I was quitely in troubles. But since this time every 3 month I'm in a cancer therapy and it seems it works. At least at the moment!

So please keep strong and stay vertical!

Reinhard

Lovely to hear from you again Reinhard. (Believe the old user was ReinhardP?) Sorry to hear about your troubles but glad to hear you're keeping on going.

It's right me previous nickname was ReinhardP. After my health-troubles I sold my company, therefor I lost my e-mail-address and afterwards some memberships in different foren. In Austria we would say it was a "chain reaction". Now, in a couple of weeks I will retire and so I will reactivate some hobbies like the Rover P6 as well as the MGB GT V8. And so I am here again....

Yes these chain reactions are far reaching but you have to 'reframe' normal and carry on. Lovely to hear you have some decent motors to have fun with.

If you like i could change the email account attached to your old account so you dont lose history?
