Front fogs will now be checked on cars from 1 / 3 /2018.
No requirement to check them before that date even if fitted.
Rear fog lights from 1 /4 /1980 fitted to offside as a minimum.
No checks to cars before that date even if fitted.

Just to add that the fact an item is not tested for the MoT doesn't necessarily make it exempt from regulation. There are still rules in the lighting regulations to be followed for additional lamps.

nice wheel emblems ..where can we get some? as to headlights going foo when we use fog lights I think that is correct. as headlights scatter lot of white light that bounce back on fog mist and can actually reduce vision .hence low level lights with a narrow beam thus others can still se our car. through fog as high penetration and we get far less light 'bounce/scatter' with bonus as light so low we ought hopefully to see more of road surface and kerbs1. Not 100% certain on that but seem to recall that from when I started driving ( way back in 60's)

Hi, You might want put them on with a better adhesive because I did some on the Saab caps and they came adrift after about a year or so and that was just them sitting indoors. So abrade the surface of the cap and use an epoxy of some sort. (Our resident glue man might suggest something else or better.) ;)

If you're going to use a different adhesive than the self adhesive already on there, it's best to remove the original one first. These pressure sensitive adhesives do have a shelf life and these badges could be decades old, hence the failure of colnerov's caps.

The best adhesive for any external trim would be a PU sealant/adhesive like Tigerseal, Sika 221 or this stuff Easygun PU40 - Black - RX2184 | Rimmer Bros

I would use the Easygun cos we make it :)
