Front wing repairs

Possibly. I’m still learning what’s the best approach with cellulose. I’ve not used cellulose spray cans before, but it seemed to be the only option available for getting paint colour matched to the original Rover colour. I guess it’s not something so readily available in a more modern aerosol.
 
Wow, very good work done. Your fabricating skill is excellent. I have to XO a similar job om my brown 3500, and your job is very inspirational!

Today, I rubbed back the first coat of paint, and applied another rattle can’s worth. I managed to get less peel this time, but unfortunately I have a run to fix when the paint’s fully cured. Hopefully I have enough paint on overall, so I can cut it back without rubbing through anywhere.

The 2nd coat rubbed back nicely. Started with rubbing compound, then moved to autoglym pain renovator, then super resin polish. It’s not perfect, but at least it’s all one colour. Doesn’t match the rest of the car though, as the remaining original paint is very faded, and a couple of other panels have been repainted at other times. I waited until the panel was back on the car before spraying the bottom of the wing black.

One by one you can work your way around the car, refinishing each panel just that little bit better than the one before as your experience increases. Alternatively, drive it as it is! It being Sunday, maybe just kick back and enjoy the compliments as the other regulars here admire your work.
 
Driving it sounds like a better option, at least whilst the weather is good. It’s taken ages to repair one wing, and aerosol cans are too expensive for doing the whole car. It will so until I get it painted properly though.
