Front suspension leg

Hi all,

Is the actual front suspension arm with the top and bottom balljoint the same for the 2200 as it is for the v8?

the pillar has the same part no. for both 2000 and 3500 the hub and various other bits however is definitely different between those two. My 2200 parts book is downstairs and its raining....
 
top ball joint is fairly easy to replace with a drift and hammer, it taps out. Bottom one is harder to get out but can be done without the special tool. The main suspension load is through the top one. If you are replacing the pillar just to get new ball joints I'd check the bottom one first and if it was reasonable, change the top one. New ones aren't that expensive.
