Front road spring rubber cushions

Hi all,
I am in the process of refurbing the front suspension of my V8, but I have a question which ones are the correct ones?
The first one on the left is what it seems to show in the factory parts book and workshop manual, but the second picture on the left is what is actually fitted to the car. the other two pics are just profile views of the first two pictures.

Just an educated guess.
The cutouts in the second rubber are there for a reason, and that could be to allow clearance for the factory spring keeps that are used in the factory method of holding the spring compressed when removing and refitting them.
If you're not using those I can't see any problems using either type.

The notches do just that on the rear spring seat iirc. The collar helps centre any steel shims added for ride height adjustment.

I'll take your word for that, but it's a bit strange when you don't need any special tools to do the rear.
Last set of front springs I did I can't remember what they were like.

PS. They're different part numbers front and rear.

I mean the rear seat of the front spring! Should’ve been clearer!

I have just received a car set by coincidence, and Steven got me confused too! :hmm:
My car has nothing at all at the front, and i hate the road noise! I hope that they will make a difference.

I'm sure they will. All the road noise gets transmitted through the bulkhead, so with no rubbers at all I imagine it would be pretty harsh. Now all you have to do is fit them......
