Front bearing spacer

Hi,
I am working on a vented disc conversion for my '74 3500 Auto. I have dismantled the front hub assembly and compared it with the workshop manual. I appear to be missing the inner bearing spacer, item 2 on the attached page from the workshop manual.
Is this bearing spacer fitted to all P6's? If so, does anyone know what thickness it is?
The discs on my hub assemblies appear to be offset 4-5mm inwards from where they should be, indicating that the spacer should be approx. 3mm.
Thanks, KJ

Hi again,
Closer look at the hub axle stub and I can see that there are spacers fitted. There must be another reason for the offset. More investigation needed.

The spacers are part of the pillar. I can only think that initially it was planned for them to be separate, until Rover realised that was pointless. I've never seen them as a separate part, so I don't think it ever got as far as production. This has been covered on here before somewhere.

Thanks Harvey, I cannot tell if they are part of the stub axle or not, but there is a line that could be a joint. However, as they are solidly in place, why disturb them.
My problem was when I was fitting the 3D printed adaptor for my vented disc conversion. I had taken the height of the P6 solid disc from the catalogue of I think Mintex as being 63mm as my existing discs were worn, corroded and had delaminated. Looking at other catalogues and taking a measurement from my existing discs, I think the height is closer to 61mm. Can you confirm this for me?
I have refitted the prototype and I have a 1.9mm offset. I can correct this easily with the thickness of the adaptor.
I am documenting the brake conversion and if it works, I'll post it. I am working on the basis that it will be fully reversible and only requires an adaptor with no additional machining to the P6 parts or the disc.
