I have decided to sell my P6. There are some pics and information in the members projects section. The thread is "1972 P6 2000".
If you want to ask any questions etc message me and I will give you my telephone number.
I live in Sudbury, Suffolk, near the Essex border.
The car is very sound, does not need any welding, it has an extensive history with MOT's going back to day one. It is currently MOT'd, Taxed and insured and ready to go.
I will post more details about the car later today.
Also there is a lot of spares to go with the car if you wanted them including recon rad, recon servo, recon steering box, quite a bit of chrome stuff. Set of matching rear seats, new rear shockers, all service items such as oil and air filters, brake pads, gasket sets and lots more.
Regards
Bob

Here goes with some details of the car. It is Corsica Blue with Sandlewood leather interior. At the moment the car is on P5B chrome rostyles with brand new tires. The original wheels go with car and are also on new tires. If you want the car with both sets of wheels and the spares I am asking £3,000 if you want the car on the original wheels only and no spares I am asking £2,500.
It is fitted with a wo0drim steering wheel and the original is available. It also has an electric fan, but the original comes with the car
Current MOT to 18/9/18 with no advisories. It has never had a radio fitted.
The previous owner had the car from 1989 and had lots of work done. I have a box full of receipts and history. It has done 75,000 miles. When I bought the car I replaced the rear discs and pads, the rest of the braking system has been renewed. It has had a complete service including gear box oil, diff oil etc. Compression is good. Stainless exhaust, new front shockers. New alternator (which it turned out it didn't need, as it was wrongly wired!)
Bumpers and most other chrome has been re-chromed. New battery.
I keep thinking of more things............if you are interested it is probably best to come and have a look.
It is not a show car, but a very tidy and useable car in good condition without any rust or requiring any work.

The fur flex around the doors is worn and there is a small crack/tear on the drivers seat squab. Carpets are good and it is dry !!!
