Hi o knowledgable ones my 67 2000SC has electric fan fitted and noticed the old fan on the engine has been removed would it be better to put one back in as well as the electric one, sorry if dim question

I don't think so otherwise the electric fan becomes redundant. The idea of not having an engine-driven fan is the small gain in horsepower & not to be cooling the engine when it's not needed which is most of the time if your radiator is in good condition.

Thank you for that reply

I agree with Peter. If you think you need the extra cooling I'd start looking for the root cause of your concern. If the radiator looks to be in good condition and free flowing it may be time to take one or both side plates off and make sure your block isn't full of sludge. I'm in Aust and my car runs at 80 degrees C all day
