Electric Fan - Can you fit one to a 2000?

Hi.
I'm new to the site (but been reading for a while). My P6 is a manual 2000TC, and I was wondering if any of you helpful chaps would have any hints as to how to fit an electric fan (Kenlowe or suchlike). If so, what kind should be used, where could you get it, and how would you fit a thermoswitch to the 4 cylinder's cooling system? Any and all help most gratefully received!

Kenlowe make a fan that will attach to the rad and a switch that fits under the top coolent hose. The 2000s shouldn't really need one though.. If it is getting to hot, its probably because the rad is full of gunk or the thermostat has stuck.
The kenlowe fan and thermostat switch is about the same money as a recored rad around £110. If your engine side plates look like they could do with replacing (assuming they haven't been done already) it might be an idea to remove at least one side and clean out the sand and gunk. The 2000/2200 don't normally over heat unless there is an issue somewhere.

If you want to be a bit more of a cheapskate (like me) I used a fan from a citroen bx, as it mounts in front of the rad and blows through. I fitted an extra switch on the dash for manual operation. Never got round to fitting a thermostatic switch.
