'Do Not Slam' boot label

I have just bought one of these labels as part of my sporadic efforts to maximise my 1972 2000 TC's authenticity. I remember the ones in my father's P6s when they were new, except for one detail: where exactly does the label go? I thought maybe the horizontal surface of the rear valance below the boot lid's lower edge, but then it would be visible when the boot is shut which would be a bit untidy.

Can anyone enlighten me? Many thanks for any pointers.

I remember my manager having a P6 2000 TC as his company car and it was serviced in our own department workshop at Longbridge ( Austin Morris) . The shop foreman came to me asking how to close the boot as it wouldn't shut, and he knew I was interested in Rovers. I went down and just pressed the lid shut and said read the label! They had been trying to slam it. The said manager also had it retro fitted with lower compression pistons so he could run on 4 star fuel as it was free to managers but Longbridge had no 5 star pumps whereas Solihull did

Great story! Watching how someone attempts to shut a P6 boot the first time tells you a lot about their innate mechanical sympathy.
