Hi Jim, Happy to enlighten, what are you interested in specifically?

I was wondering where you got your parts really, and what kind of money you parted with..
But also how much did your acceleration suffer from the change? Did you choose the ratio to suit a change of cam?

The CWP cost around £300 , the company doesn't make them for you car I'm afraid, though they do advertise on ebay now and then, your best bet possibly is to change to a jag diff as mentioned on this site, maybe.
No reduced acceleration is noticeable above 15 MPH the gears are now "taller" and changes into 3rd at around 80MPH under hard acceleration, that's fast enough for me. Cruising at 60 is far more comfortable with reduced engine RPM, when accelerating hard at this speed it changes into 2nd. At 70 MPH the engine RPM is around 2200.
If it were a racing car then the camshaft would be changed to get maximum torque for a required speed, but hey, it's an old cruiser weighing in at around 2000 kilo, and gets over 30 MPG, can't see what benefit a different cam would make in this car! :?:
The best thing is cruising around at 30 MPH at just over 1000 RPM in top gear listening to the deep throb of the exhaust from the twin pipes :D

Nice car the boot trim is very nice compared to the original.

I have had a speedo and rev counter bezel chrome plated for my car and will do the guages aswell. good to see that it works well, I wonder why they didn't do then originally, probably a cost saving.

Could be, they did seem to save money on the later cars. The smaller bezels were bought from ebay from a specialist bezel supplier but they couldn't supply the larger ones. As I recall jag bezels are the same size, not sure if they were chrome or black.
