Hello all,
Some days ago i was at a car breaker to look at a rover v8, the engine number is 11A14428 cr 9,3
according to the rover engine number list it should be a sd1 aut ,
But this engine has a point dizzy, twin SU, range rover timing cover, multible belt pulley. range rover sump. So can anybody tell me what this is?
And for last does all sd1 come with a rubber end seal ?

This is an example of mixing and matching or assembled from parts, nothing wrong with it. Yes it will have a rubber lip seal at the rear, but the front will depend on the age of the timing cover.
