Clutch master location for conversion

II welded mine like you say took a few minutes , and doesn’t have to be too neat as you can’t really see it anyway

I probably came up with my method of fixing after reaching for the wine bottle, so after 2 hrs now the wine should be gone and you will be well on the way ............
I like Paulcovy's bracket, I wonder if he bolted or welded it to the car ?
Either way mrtask you have a tame welder chappie nearby so getting it fixed in shouldn't take long. Keep the momentum going now, come on no slacking ![/QUOTE

I think it needs a bit of welding to be able to bolt it in place.
That's the original setup or very close to it, the actuation rod comes out the side of the box section and the master is operated via a lever that fits over the end of the pedal extension that pokes through the side of the box section.

Holy thread resurrection, you guys are way quicker responding than I am at wrenching!
Cobra Mark and Unstable John, I was wondering the same thing;
Paul Covy (many many thanks for those super-helpful pics by the way), you then welded that little self-made bracket to the Base Unit so that it is permanently fixed in position, before bolting the bracket to it? Right?
I was looking at the illustrations in the Parts Catalogue. I think I'm missing a little triangular bit for the clutch pedal stop, plus the stop bolt.
Also now realise I need a Clevis fork and pin to join the clutch master to the pedal extension. I hadn't realised that (of course!) isn't supplied with a new master.
Should be able to get back to my Hot Rod Shack on Friday and carry on through the weekend.
Now I've a much clearer idea what to do next, so thanks one and all who've chipped in with knowledge and experience.

Yes I welded it to the base unit

I think this is the part you need ? Just digging around my photos and came across mine when I was converting to manual

Hello Paul. Again, many thanks for your photos and info regarding the clutch master bracket.
That photo is indeed exactly the little missing piece I now realise I still need. That one in your photo you've presumably now installed in your car? If you didn't install it, is it sitting around going spare and perhaps for sale?
