Classic transport

Can anyone recomend a classic car transport service in the London/Bedfordshire area ( for future reference as keep seing all these rovers i would like but cant get em home )

1. never buy without looking first. unless you are willing to take the risk!!
2. get the train if its a long way and drive it home.
3. get a mate/wife to drive you there and then you have a back up car if it breaks down.
4. make sure you have insurance and breakdown cover,and book an mot if it hasnt got one.

I collect or move them around myself, as it's hard to know if you are getting a classic sympathetic driver/ loader :|

You can always hire a trailer and collect it all in one visit, you'd have to view it before paying someone to go for you, so you'd only lose the trailer fee which would be worth while if miles and miles away I guess :)

I used to do the same, but after almost jack-knifing on the M25 with a Range Rover Classic and a P6B on the car trailer - side-wind, only doing 45MPH at the time - I'd rather pay someone else now. I have a pet company who move my cars for me, in a covered transport.
