Nice. The car in 'Heaven' is a Thunderbird. (You can see the bird logo on the back seat in one shot) Not too sure what year, early '60s i'd say but most definitely not British. Here's a couple from Kiwiland: This one actually features a lovely P6B...

And this one was partly filmed in my front yard many years ago. There is a nice broadside shot at about 22 seconds in of my teenage wheels. :D

Hello KR,

So it is,..a thunderbird in "Heaven". I've watched that vid loads of times and never spotted that,..right at the end. I was trying to work it off the dash and the steering wheel, but the glimpses were only that, guess the rest of the time I was looking at Annie... ....so keen eyes you have!

The vids that you posted I had never seen before,..and with a P6 too. The second video, was your Dad involved with music, is that how they came to film in your front yard?

Hi Ron, sadly a lot of Kiwi music never gets much further that our shores. My Dad is a musician but had nothing to do with this. I came home one day to find a lighting truck and film crew in the street. They had been filming up the road but asked if they could film around the cars on the lawn. I said "go for it, i'm going out". I had no idea it was Hello Sailor 'til I saw the video. (They are kind of rock legends here, been around since the '70s.) The stuff in my yard apart from the '69 Chrysler was a '75 Valiant, '53 Cadillac and '51 Plymouth. There may have been a Morry Minor there too.

Not a music vid but a clip from a dvd I watched recently called Book Of Eli.
What else would you wan to use as cover in a post-apocalyptic gunfight?!
The places where a P6 crops up never ceases to amaze!

Here is one from the very beautiful Norah Jones

Not sure what make the car is, but I am guessing it is from the late 1970s.... :?

1970 Cadillac Coupe Deville; nice clip with Ravi Shankars daughter ( ! ) she's hugely popular in Japan. I guess in Arizona they wrote her a ticket for being "too pretty" a distraction to other drivers...

Hello KR,

I remember "Maxine" from the 80s, but had not heard it pretty well since then. Always liked the track. Crowded House was and still are very popular. The other three I had not heard before.
