Chrome wiper blades

Can anyone tell me where I can obtain a pair of Chrome wiper blades for my mk2 3500 v8?

I have tried various motor factors, such as EuroParts/MicksGarage etc, to name but two. But no one seems to stock them!

If any member can help, I'll be most grateful.

Smudged.

Many thanks Simon for all the info.

I found what I was looking for from RoverP6Parts, at £11:00 ea plus carriage. Many thanks again.

I found the ones from Wins unnecessarily short, nothing wrong with the product just not really optimal. Could easily be another inch at either end.

I'm assuming these are 13* and 14-15" would be better?

I'm tempted to say you can have mine - they're rubbish! The blade seems far to hard to be of any practical use, I don't know what they are though as they came already fitted to the car. I'd like to fit normal blades, but I don't think I can do that without changing the arms.

They are about as I purchased a set of new 14" for mine without changing the arms .
Mind you I am in the antipodes , but Im sure they are not local made . Probably like most things - Chinaside

I've found Tex brand to be awful quality. Trico are far better.
I had a look today and it's Tex ones fitted to mine and they are awful. I'll have to get hold of some Trico ones, they look as if they should be interchangable.

I found some trico ones at one of the classic car shows at stoneleigh. The guy selling them specialised in mostly wiper blades, and I think mirrors.

If you do find Trico ones, the inserts turn up now and again on Ebay. So if you find a pair with worn rubber, don't be put off buying them.

The curve in the rover screens means you do need the metal framed blades, not the plastic ones as the plastic sets into the lower windscreen curve in the summer and leaves an unwiped patch on the middle of the screen... steel framed blades don't do this. Parts suppliers will sell just the rubber piece. They are held in by either acrimp at one end or sometimes a small pin through the rubber. the clip that holds the blade into the carrier also needs to be on the bottom of the blade so the blade action slides it in rather than out.
