Choke cable route

Hi all , can someone please tell me or a pic on how/where the choke cable is routed ?
It's been a while and I cannot remember , I do have the air cleaner assembly off , WSM doesn't show clearly enough

ISTR it depends on the year of the car and/or the choke cable type fitted. If you loosely replace the air cleaner assy, with the cable laying over it roughly in a line from where it comes through the bulkhead and post a pic I should be able to tell you how to route it.

Thankyou Harvey, i have changed the cable from a clear outer type, with the hook type of "pull handle" to a longer black outer with the round "pull handle" from another car. i will upload a pic soon with the filter in "situ"
