That's similar to the one I have my 3500S on at the moment. You could probably make one with a bit of box steel and good welding skills. It's all time though isn't it

Good link what a nice price. I bet you could sell it on and get a good chunk of it back when done too.

They look good and available in kit form, but Daves right it is the time.

I am looking at the CJ autos roller that bolts on giving you the fred flintstone effect.

Bit of a dilema, though having a few different type of cars it might be a better option as they come with adaptors for 4 and 5 bolt wheels.

would love to see a p6 on one though.

Looks like the one I bought for £200. Used it for two years than sold it to erm.... I think it was Stan, for £120.

If it is the same as mine, bolt it down to the floor or it will rock about a bit and is a bit un-nerving.

Sparky getting giddy

I wouldn't put the whole car on there though, I stripped most of it down first.

Not sure I would be stripping cars right down but I wish I had over the years as I hate upside down welding and have the scars to prove it.

The CJ autos one, I am still trying to figure out how they work but think it would suit me. They have a few options but I like a few thing like the wheel kit to move it about when tilted.

Their photos arent very high quality for some reason.

Stan sold that one on to me.

Well I went a bit wild and treated myself to the car lift and basic roller from CJ autos.

tried it on a friends car which was handy as he had 3 extra bodies to flip it over and even that was a bit of an effort.

They do an electric aid which I think is pretty critical other that the strong men or engine hoist. Though the car was complete and not stripped down in anyway.

Pretty impressed as i was apprehensive about using the hubs and axles but seems to do the trick and will be a great help to remove the underseal and weld any underside bits, goodbye lying on my back.

That's my old car!

Sold 3 years ago to a buyer (cannot remember his name) from West of Scotland (so I assume it's still there?) Is it roadworthy? He MOT'ed it OK after I sold it to him.
There was loads of history with it and I spent ages restoring the interior (I would still like that interior in my 3500S!)
