Good morning everyone. Just a little question. I have stripped my HS8’s. to clean them and found a part missing. It’s an aluminium spacer with teeth on it that goes between the carb and the manifold. I think it’s to help vaporise the mixture. Is the car going to suffer if it’s missing? Cheers for any help in advance.

It is called deflector gasket
or serrated centre plate
