I am thinking of fitting a better camshaft to my rover p6. it is an Oselli RV8480 with a timing of 36/76/76/36 and a period of 292 degrees. The valve lift is .480 inches.Does anyone know if i will have to make any modifications to my engine before i fit this camshaft as i am thinking of buying it soon.Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

Yup, it's me again! You must read the David Hardcastle books entitled "The Rover V8 Engine" and "Tuning The Rover V8 Engine".
Also, of course, there are several Rover V8 specialists out there.
R.P.I. Engineering were good for tuning / performance parts _ I will check on the web and come back to you.
