Has anyone got one of these going spare. It's a Piston, Front Clutch Borg Warner 35 .Taken from a 1972 Rover P6 3500. Can't find one online for sale. Are they also in the BW65, if so i could widen my search. Has anyone here ever welded one?

I think they are different in the BW65 because the BW65 has "anti-bump" to soften the engagement of DRIVE.

It's a bit risky to say it can't be welded, but by the time you do that, and have remachined the seal groove (and then found that the piston itself has distorted during the welding process) you would be better trying to find a replacement piston IMHO.

Try here:

They have one listed, part number 110 45 01
