Greetings all, I am curious to know what colour ' Buffalo' was. Would anyone have a pic ? Amongst all things Rover I collect old Rover Brochures for P5 and P6 models. These seem to have featured all the interior colours, except Buffalo......?

Cant recall a "buffalo" colour option
Hi GRTV8*, It seems it was offered for about a year 66-67 Its specified in the brochures for that period as a colour. By a process of elimination, ie, counting down the colours featured in the brochure eg, Buckskin, sandalwood, ebony, toledo red, I came up with no 'Buffalo'.

June 1966 - January 1967 arden green - buckskin, buffalo, sandalwood, burnt grey - buckskin, buffalo, sandalwood, toledo red, venetian red- buckskin, buffalo, sandalwod, white - buffalo, sandalwood, toledo red, zircon blue - buckskin, buffalo, sandalwod, February 1967 - September 1967 arden green, - buckskin, buffalo, ebony, sandalwood, burnt grey - buckskin, buffalo, ebony, sandalwood, toledo red, venetian red - buckskin, buffalo, ebony, sandalwood, white - buffalo, ebony, sandalwood, toledo red, zircon blue - buckskin, buffalo, ebony, sandalwod

Colour and interior options copied and pasted from Rudigers website which confirms brief availability. Prior to this they offered Tan which was also a brown colour. Rover also offered Saddle Tan on the P5B but by the 70's i think Bronze was the brown equivalent but not as brown as Buffalo if you know what i mean!

Buffalo is a dark brown. Looks very, very nice with the April Yellow pale yellow paint. It was available up to the introduction of the vinyl seats, i.e. into 1968 here in Canada.

Yours
Vern
