Hi Gents,
I've converted my '69 series 1 to LPG and found that the sparks were fine for petrol, but to weak for LPG.
After fitting new coil (Bosch) and sparkplugs (NGK) obviously the leads were up for replacement. The standard Lucas leads were not good enough.
And of course Magnecor can supply great leads, but I was looking for an alternatieve half the price of a Magnecor-set (ca. €100).
And succeeded: bought Janmor RVS 27 leads, see link: http://www.janmor.pl/eng/katalog.php?p=main&s=4
Costs €40,32 incl. shipment
Result is much better starting and smooth running on LPG (and petrol of course), so I'm quite happy!
Could even downtune the LPG-supply a little bit, for better economy.
So, if you need new leads, Janmor is a good alternative.
Cheers,
Rene
