Brake wear level wiring

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to unplug the wires from the swivel post, WM just says to unplug but I don't want to cause any damage. I'm finding it difficult to see what I'm doing up close , must need new glasses.
Thanks
Bruce

That's the plug, I'm removing the calipers so they can be overhauled by a brake specialist. The car had been sitting for quite sometime so I want all the calipers off , the servo was removed today and I will be replacing all the hoses. Pleased I had already made that decision when I found a split in a front hose this afternoon.

the wires to pads should simply unplug by pulling apart but a small amount of wiggling may be needed as they can adhere a touch when left in for some time. do point out politely to brake guy that the rear calipers have an actuating 'pin' that is easy to slip over at wrong angle when rebuilding and handbrake won't function correctly. hopefully he will be aware of this as it catches a lot out! luckily I knew about it due to posts in here.

Thank you for the help. Turns out this car must have had an interesting life in the Victorian country. The pads had been replaced at some time with non wired ones so the remaining wiring was more than a little "modified". Still it is repairable. I was given another surprise when I removed the pads, the thickest one is 3.15mm the thinnest is exactly 1mm. Great relief that there is no damage to the disks. Still trying to gain access to the rear calipers as my arthritis has decided these nice warm days is a good time to return, still that's life with older proper vehicles.
