brake switch

There is only one bleed nipple at the back (on my S2 car not sure about earlier models) so only 3 points to bleed. I suppose you might be lucky and find that the air only ends up in one circuit. I found that running the car up on a pair of ramps at the back gives good access to the rear bleed nipple. Can't really get it high enough on a jack.

Never mind, I find that wives/girlfriends REALLY ENJOY helping to bleed brakes!

Just thought: You can reduce the amount of fluid lost by isolating the fluid resovoir. Either put clingfilm over the top to block of the air or clamp the hose from the resovoir. If you don't have a proper pipe clamp a couple of sockets over the end of some mole grips will prevent damage.

I use wooden chopsticks to block each hole in the brake reservoir. You won't get *much* air into the system by re. & re.(ing) the brake switch but you are likely to get *some*. I use the chopstick approach to stop fluid loss and reduce the air ingress. I *would* recommend bleeding the brakes when you're done (it's your life at stake if the brakes are not efficient). :(
