Dear forum members!
I am about to refurbish a -68 RHD 2000 TC (ex UK) that's been off the road since 1981. Of course, the brake system has to be completely renewed/rebuilt. The master cylinder is seized, thus probably past saving, and I intend to buy a new one but, this winter I scrapped a -66 2000 with Dunlop brakes and saved the master cylinder.
If I decide to have the Dunlop cylinder rebuilt, would it be compatible with the rest of the brake system?
Yes, I'm aware that it most likely would be penny wise, pound foolish, but still interesting to learn if,and in what way the braking performance would suffer from such a change.
