Brake Disc skimmers

Hi Just thought I would pass on this site I used recently. He's bases around Newmarket in Cambridgeshire, very helpful had all 4 disc skimmed while I waited for very reasonable price.

always good to get such advise. maybe this site ought to have a folder where a list of traders offering services of use to rover owners can be found. e.g. disc skimmers. engine repairs. chroming. seat refurbishing etc.
put in a geographical sub section . e.g. like an estate agent we put in a post code or town and add miles ( anything within that range) so a list is reduced from however many to only those within a radius of an owner.
thus an rover owner can look for services or supplies near them e.g. within say 20 miles.

It'd be a lot of work but i could code something of that nature...

There is a suppliers folder now where you can leave recommendations of people you've used. There is the question of negative reviews still though - i've put a few suppliers that are well known in there, but how can i arbitrate between a supplier i dont know and a customer who's received poor service?

There are few suppliers who haven't dissappointed SOMEBODY, so if I post Bodgitt and Scarper as a good garage
for British Classics, there is bound to be somone who feels they aren't.
I think the idea of posting suppliers is a good one, but it should be made clear that the list is based on the poster's
experience and for the rest it's Caveat Emptor and negative comments should be removed. If someone has an issue
with bad service then do it via the PM function.

That's what i've thought for the time being. It hasnt been there for long so shall we see how it goes for a while?
