Although the car has been sat for 18 months and the battery had gone flat I charged the battery and she did start. When I tried to put it in gear it wouldnt go in and I realised the clutchplate had seised to the flywheel. However i switched it off put it in gear started it and that was enough to shear it off. I then took it for a few laps out the back of the house where we have a shared access right of way before getting it up on the ramps. I think she wants to live.
Chris, my wife has been telling me I should scrap it for years. I dont have the heart. As a kid the P6 was the only car I ever wanted and having now owned mine for 9 years, nothing's changed.
