with all the ongoing TLC we are putting our 3500s back to life we found heating variabled from a knacked thermostat
to air locks due to the small bleed tube from manifold to radiator was blocked
very small diameter tube solid with crud
that explains the refilling headaches of air locks
such a small thing but will cause grief in the cooling system
so this is worth a check on anyone with the V8
