Bit more bumpy than I’d like.

Really helpful, thank you. I replaced exhaust rubbers and aligned the exhaust properly this afternoon that eliminated a few knocks that have made the ride seem a lot better, when I lean against the front and give it a light push there is a knock that you can hear at low speeds on rough ground.
 
I once had a nasty clunking knock at slow speeds that could be reproduced by rocking the front of the car up and down, which turned out to be a loose steering idler bracket.
 
Interesting.... I’ll have a look at that tomorrow, it’s more when I move the front side to side...
 
It's not a bad job. We did it with studding in place of the retaining bolts & loosening evenly.

I wish I could do that, but mine already has studs and I can't work out a way of removing them to replace with longer ones, in situ.

Shame really as I will probably be having them out shortly
