You may recall but i sold my pale blue Rover 2000 last year to the TV guys.

Well, sady they changed the colour and now its Martin Shaws new car in the TV series.

A great pity that it's been changed from Wedgwood blue to what looks like Corsica. The original colour looked far more in period. Can we assume that this is another series of George Gently then? Definitely one of my favourite modern TV programmes.
 
Thats very interesting as they purchased my City Grey 2000 with wire wheels for the programme a few years back, i wonder where that is now?

Not seen that car in years now.

Very sad what they've done to that Wedgie :shock:
 
What a shame, and the fog lights have been taken off to.

I wonder if someone has told them that Wedgewood Blue wasn't a correct colour, so they went for a Zircon respray, or maybe they just didn't like Wedgewood.
 
It is a shame, but if you think about it in context I can't imagine an Inspector driving going from a dark green P5 to a Wedgewood blue P6, especially when his Constable has a pale blue MGB and a pale blue Corsair.
