Barn Find Rover 105 in Western Australia (near Perth).

G'day from down unda,

I’m an auctioneer in Western Australia and I’m preparing a “barn find” online Clearance auction just out of Perth for mid January.

Amongst the items to be auctioned are several 1950s "ish" tractors, 2 x tray back light trucks (Dodge 11A & International Harvester AR-148), a Dodge 129 (AT4 ?) ambulance (made 1970 "ish" I believe) and of probably more interest to your members is this Rover 105 sedan.

I have 2 questions for you.

1. Am I allowed to promote the auction through your platform and if so, how do I do so?
2. I’ve not closely inspected the vehicle to establish its “specs” but I do have three photos so far, therefore, I may need some descriptive clarification that your knowledgeable members could probably provide.

The vehicle is definitely a restoration project in this reserve free auction.

You will want to specify if the car is a 105R (semi auto) or 105S the four speed manual (probably has overdrive). They are very different beasts to drive.

It looks like it has 105R badges on the bonnet and bootlid and a large brake pedal.
