Just got my kit from the Club - dont need it yet (AFAIK?), but wanted to have it available just in case. 2 sets of 8 laser cut plates, 11 page manual on how to fit on the car. Designed by a professional engineer. Very strict notes on the sequence of fitting and welding to avoid stress raises or distortion.

Some surface rust, but that will come off easily. A$130. Will cost a LOT more than that to get fitted, but it could save an otherwise scrap chassis.

I'd be curious as to where they all fit. That said, fitting them will never save a scrap chassis. The only thing that will save a scrap chassis, is to fix the chassis - straighten it, cut the rot out - not weld bits of metal over the top of holes or other such issues.

I had that lot fitted to my base unit when I rebuilt my car. As Chrisw observes, it won't fix a scrap chassis, it is only intended to reinforce and stiffen a good chassis. The chap who welded it all on for me said it was a pain in the proverbial! Unfortunately all the photos in my build thread vanished when the site I had stored them on went down.

Re photos gettiung lost when a site goes down, I save all mine locally anyway, then add some to imgur, and post the imgur address in my posts here, and in other fora. I can understand it being a PITA to fit properly, just from reading the instructions.
