I have a collection of P6 parts left over from my late Father's rover project. They are free.
You can call me on 0468338050.
Cheers Darren.

Well I made the trip to Brisbane and met up with Darren who had a nice little treasure trove of Rover bits and pieces to give away.
If is wasn't for lack of space, I most likely would have taken the lot!
As it was, I scored front and rear screen bottom sections...front swivel bars and attachments, top part of the battery case, and many many sundry/hard to get items.
I had to leave behind two front and rear guards, widow frame and mechanism and odd bits and bobs.
Whilst I was there Darren was gracious enough to show me around his very considerable waiting to be restored car collection, as well as motors, carbs, manifolds etc.
He showed me the "P8" motor, and whilst most of what he pointed out was lost on my ignorance, it did seem to have some very unique design features and casting numbers that made it something quite out of the ordinary.
What struck me most was his self taught engineering prowess...bits and pieces fabricated from scratch as well as parts from other cars suitably modified to achieve an intended outcome.
He certainly has a love for all things of the Marina variety, and is working on a Marina coupe that will be a veritable weapon when it is finished.
He also showed me some very interesting mods that can be done to SU carbies and also the Rover cylinder heads that result in better flow and increases in torque.
I wont give away his secrets, but hope that maybe he may see fit to share what he sees as two very simple mods that yield a lot more than the effort required to do them.
