I know, that is so annoying. I wanted to buy some computer bits and asked a French colleague to get them off Amazon UK for me and bring them to work, only to be told he got sent packing because they won't ship to France, and Amazon France
don't sell QWERTY keyboards.......
So, I registered on Amazon myself, and got told "Sorry, Amazon won't ship those products to South Africa."

John, yes, I have joined Amazon USA and have very few problems with them shipping from there; I was asked to join Amazon UK and then that would not work as I did not have a UK address... looks like I have some help from a UK based forum member for these filters now; so thanks again to all for your support! 8)

Here we go .
I was looking for the last piece of my upgrade , I know you could go mad drilling holes in the air box , and testing all sorts of theories , but i'm happy knowing the old lady has a good gulp of air , and the needles to suite . Good detective work Mr C,York in the first place , They fit just fine :D

Ps , how "Q" is that ? it all fit in the original housing ! :D

Cheers Rich ," Birthday boy :D ", when i went for the BAC needles i sort of had this upgrade in mind as the finishing point , plus loosing the poppet valves , Then one day just to make Chris York happy , put Her on the rolling road :D
H'mmm , When it al goes wrong i'll be on you for some set up :?

ah yes - with BAC you're going to be motoring.... If you hold onto first you're going to know about it now :)

Sorry for being so late to the party here, but filter wise can anyone remember the diameter of the filter neck to fit where the existing one would sit using Chris's technique? I had measured it around 9cm....

Thanks

You want the biggest air filter area you can get to reduce the pressure drop across the filter. K&N oiled units used on hot wire type air flow meters can kill the wire if the filter is over oiled (more must be better, right?).
