Battery voltage is constant. Will take a look at all the connections. It's doing in on constant idle. ThanksCan you stick a multimeter on the battery and see if the voltage is going up and down or is constant? Any loose connections in the charging circuit (loose or corroded wires in crimps too)? Earth strap to body healthy? Is it doing this at a constant idle?
What voltage is it showing when it is showing as charging and when not?Battery voltage is constant. Will take a look at all the connections. It's doing in on constant idle. Thanks
It's not what you are saying, but it's worth saying DON'T under any circumstances put the ammeter across a battery. The shunt creates only tiny voltages. Can you stick a multimeter on the battery and see if the voltage is going up and down or is constant? Absolutely, voltage only. Trying to find out if we've ~14v at the battery and how much it fluctuates when the charging flits. It's not what you are saying, but it's worth saying DON'T under any circumstances put the ammeter across a battery. The shunt creates only tiny voltages.
