    yes a real waste of. parts for a start. would have thought if a vehicle was rare? then clubs ought to be able. to point out value to society and a museum be offered chance to salvage it! otherwise cars ought be on offer for parts sales to owners of same cars and car clubs as spares . eg rover P6 power steering now almost as rare as rocking horse poo..
    monies raised by selling such spares' to be given in part to charities .(30%) another part to car clubs that are involved in activities such as supplying information/training/ classes for those entering are of ownership (30%) rest given to any college/school that is. training apprentices in teh skills we need for these cars to stay on roads.!
