The OEM fuel filters are, and indeed have been for quite some time, hard to come by. I was having a look around and found these: -

They come with captive nuts but with metric threads, which I am certain the OEM filters were not. Although the OEM filters for our V8 engines were manufactured within the U.K, they were an American design, the implication being that the threads would likely be National Pipe Straight (NPS).
