A sort of P6 - Mgb GT V8 question

The throttle linkage on the 1972 P6 V8 - Is it the same style that is fitted to a MGB GT V8 (1975) or is the Mg a cable?
I can't get to the MG at the moment so any help would be appreciated in advance.

If I remember correctly the carbs on the MGBGTV8 sit at the rear of the engine in the middle of the "V" facing forward, not facing sideways like the Rover. I would guess the MG uses a cable.

completely different.

If using SU's in the MG you will need a new plenum and inlet manifold. unless you want to cut holes in the bonnet for the dashpots to poke through?

You can reuse the MGB throttle cable. You just need to make up a bracket for the rover plenum.
