A Christmas Tale

T'was the night before Christmas
On the top of Woodhead
In a layby a Rover sat, dead.
It's owner deflated
As were two of its tyres

With no signal, my phone was down
I prepared for the night in Mr Brown
Four hours passed
in the blink of an eye.
Peace and goodwill
They all drove by

When out of the darkness a car loomed
Thank goodness I thought, I'm not doomed
Joe and Jenny arrived, to see them good
They even brought cuddles and food

The lesson I've leaned from this expedition
Keep your spare in top condition
Keep a torch and gloves,two
And Mr Brown will get to Sheffield
And home again too.
