3500S reverse issues

Download doesn't work for me.
I'll stoke up the fire on my steam powered computer to increase the pressure and see what happens then.
 
Commonly when software is unable to do what you have asked it to do it at least provides an inkling of the cause by way of a message in words "Could not....because..." or "Error 1234f". Some products are goood at this , some are very poor - fail to do as asked, no information provided. If I had $1 for every time a user told me something didnt work and there was no message, and I immediately found a visible message on their screen ...you know the rest. Sometimess the message is obvious, but sometimes its placement is in an odd corner of the screen.

I replaced the acorn and spherical bush which made a minor difference (maybe a placebo). The selector housing already had some bushes/blocks machined in for the selector rod, but the selector finger looked worn down and had some brittle plastic on the end which was destroyed. I’m not sure if this was for an earlier car and mines a later car as I know there’s 2 types.
I haven’t had chance to take the car for a spin since putting it all back together but I can select every gear while stationary and I’ve reversed the car into the garage without it popping out of gear.View attachment 27682

Nope, life’s got in the way of me driving it and I’m halfway through changing the interior, but I’ve drove it up and down the drive and seems to select the gears while it’s stationary so fingers crossed it’ll be fine
 
I can see clearly now. All is as I remembered it. Why should I move into the 21st century when the stone age seems fine to me.
 
Luna had her selector striker, acorn and seat, remote bushes, and rear mount bushes replaced today.

Gear selection is much improved.

Reverse selection feels a lot more positive, and it isn't jumping out any longer.
Downshifting across the gate, second is engaging every time now.
