3500S in 'that' colour...

Doesnt look too bad overall!
Mostly cosmetic repair and a repaint,so easily another £2k to spend just there!
Sort out the niggles and use it as is and do a rolling resto, buying bits when you can,and saving up for a repaint!
As always the more you can do yourself the more £££'s you save!
The only way to be sure is go and have a look, and if it talks to you, make an offer!

I know we should be talking P6 values up, but I think it is significantly overpriced going on the photos & text alone.

However, if its base unit is broadly unmolested & solid, that's a totally different matter.....

Depends on your budget and what you are prepared to do....
Although he reckons the body work is in good order for the age > if the body work is good, I wonder what the welding quality is like!
Looks like your gonna be doing a top end engine rebuild, replacing doors and wings for a full restray... If you can do most of this work yourself, then great. If you are paying someone else to do this, budget at least £3K, which make it expensive in its current condition!

What about this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1972-L-RO...1772702?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c3cf4fc9e

Don't really know what the baseunit is like on either of them...
If I was looking for a 3500s, I would go see that brown one and haggle... I wouldn't touch the yellow one!
