Not sure if this is the correct section - but here goes.

Soon I will have to part with one of my P6's and the estate will be staying!

To help me decide whether to just take her off the road or sell her

What is the value of a 2000TC LHD in good running order. (new rear brake calpiers, alternator) Has a full MOT (well controle technique) Sound underneath no rot on any panels (a few surface rust spots on one rear wing.

Be a shame to store her away, I think storing cars can do more damage that running them and fixing stuff as they crop up. But then it will be hard to see her go. Is there no family member who wants her?

If it is in good condition perhaps you can put the special "classic" registration plates ( i don't know how they are called in Belgium) and have much reduced tax and insurance expences. I know about the restrictions (it is something stupidly similar over here in Greece) but at least you can keep the car.

She is on "standard" registration which has a much tougher "MOT" test (which she passed). As she is over 25 years old I dont pay much in insurance or road tax. However the problem is I have a 3500S estate on the road as well along with another estate for restoration.

Situation is such that to have 3 classics is not sustainable and so will have to reduce to 1, so first to go is either or both the 3500 estate resto project and then the 2000TC leaving me with the 3500S estate for now (unless I get a fantastic offer for her!)

Over the last year I only drove the 2000TC under 1500kms and the estate less.

Over the years Ive been hoarding parts and bits and bobs, a celler full. Discovered I have a full stainless steel exhaust system for the 2000TC! a boot mount kit, Lucas "square 8" fog lamps etc etc. Its just a pity that there arent many enthusiasts near me! (all are a bit bulky to post and if you think the Royal Mail is expensive --- its a fraction of charges my post office charges!)
