Greetings all, I've had my P6, a 2000 SC of 72 vintage a few months now, but not actually posted yet. So, here we go, in case it's not obvious, name is Rob, from deepest Dorzzzzzzzet, and this is my car, affectionately known as Thug for obvious reasons. Just had fun fixing rear brakes and DeDion gaiter. Which was nice... Anyways here's a pic or 2 :)20200804_200843.jpg20200804_200706.jpg

Not much really! Bodywise is pretty much spot on, just a few mechanical (leaking side plate for one) bits to sort, and maybe one day get the red leather sorted and repaired/replaced. It's currently sporting black cloth from the spares car I got to go with it.20200726_173930.jpg20200803_171330.jpg

Very nice, I spent many of my younger years touring around Darzet in various P6 Rovers.

Welcome Rob - nice looking car!

Do I spy some Wipac fog lights? They have something about them & seem much rarer than the Lucas "Square 8s" that many of us have.

I’d get that handbrake looked at sharpish before anyone notices it! Nice car, looks very well, my late father in law always had white P6’s, he even had his blue SD1 resprayed white!

welcome to site and public. nice looking car. do enjoy when I eventually ( covid?) go visit friends next year in Dorset ( Blandford forum area) will keep en eye out if a sunny day .

I’m sure you will enjoy the forum, folk on here always ready to offer good advice. I have saved myself many a head scratching session in my garage because of the kind expert advice on this site. Quite frankly I’m not a mechanic, I need all the help I can get!
