1970 - Series 1 V8 - No Horn or Wipers

As the subject title might suggest, I've no horn or wipers at current. I've not yet had time to look at it yet, however, I do still have windscreen washers.

All the fuses in the fuse box (All four of then) seem fine, are there fuses elsewhere in the wiring loom or am I missing something? Is this just bad earths?

I ask, simply so I can hit the ground running when I have a look this evening.

thanks

might be worth sanding the tips of the fuses and the contacts into which they fit. Also spraying contact cleaner as part of the process won't hurt.

good luck.

No other fuses unless some have been added

I had a similar problem with the wipers, it turned out to be a bad fuse. It looked OK when peering into the gloom of the glove box, but upon inspection the fuse had a
loose end and was only letting the current into the position in the fuse box one end. So pull the fuse out and inspect ...

Hi, On the face of it there are two problems because the horns have battery power and the horn switch earths them. The wiper motor is ignition fed from a fuse, but it does require an earth. So it could be a case of checking earth connections for the loom as well as checking power connection.
